Our medical clinics are headed by Dr. Jeffrey T. Kirchner, MD. We have two locations: one at 20 North Laurel Street in Hazleton, and one at 2201 5th Street Hollow Road in Bloomsburg.
These clinics offer free, comprehensive STD examinations completed by our Nurse Practitioner. We offer free screening and testing for HIV, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, and Hepatitis C, as well as tests for Trichomoniasis (Trich) and yeast infections. We also provide tests for Herpes 1 & 2 for $40. These services are provided on a walk-in basis on days the clinics operate, or can be scheduled by making an appointment.
Out clinics can provide treatment or some STDs, including Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Syphilis. They also give our free condoms, information, and resource materials. For persons living with HIV who are currently out of care or in danger of running our of medications, our physician may be able to prescribe an emergency supply. Out clinics also offer Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services to help individuals who want another way to protect themselves from HIV infection. PrEP is a daily pill, Truvada, that reduces the risk of acquiring HIV if exposed. For more information about our PrEP, please click here. Private pay and most major insurances are accepted for this service. If you are uninsured and interested in PrEP, please call the clinic and we may be able to assist you.
In addition to housing our clinics, these locations also offer free HIV case management services to individuals living with HIV or AIDS in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
