Free Case Management and Retention Services
Case management services are provided for people living with HIV and AIDS in our coverage area. Referrals are provided for clients outside of our service area.
Case management services can help clients obtain medication, find a dentist and pay for dental work, help clients navigate the local healthcare and social service systems, provide emergency money to help pay for utilities, rent, and prescriptions, as well as find and pay for health insurance coverage and certain medical bills. If you feel that you may benefit from this service, call our case managers at our Berwick office, (570) 752-5655, or our Hazleton clinic, (570) 472-2700, to schedule an intake appointment.
Pharmacy Services – Clients enrolled in our agency’s case management program have the ability to choose to take part in our mail-order pharmacy program. This program enables clients to receive their monthly medications directly at their door and provides them with free, non-prescription items monthly, including vitamins, personal hygiene products, nutritional supplements, and many other options.
Free STD Clinic in Hazleton
STD, HIV, and Hepatitis C screenings are available during the week during drop-in hours on Tuesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and by appointment. Comprehensive STD examinations and treatment are available during scheduled clinic days on Wednesdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The clinic accepts patients with or without insurance.
COMING SOON: The clinic is currently working on offering Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services to help individuals who want another way to protect themselves from HIV infection. For more information on PrEP, please click here.
In addition to housing the clinic, the Hazleton location also offers free HIV case management services to individuals living with HIV or AIDS in Northeastern Pennsylvania. For more information, please call 570-454-2700 ext. 202.
Free Link-to-Care Client Services
Link-to-medical-care service is provided to those who are newly diagnosed with HIV and/or Hepatitis C or have disconnected from HIV care for some reason. Barriers to client care are addressed in one-on-one sessions with one of our Community Health Workers. Free Link-to-Care Staff Training
This is a one-hour staff training explaining all of our services and the state of HIV today, as it applies to the population you serve. Certificates of Attendance are provided. Please call (570) 829-2700 x 201 if you or your agency is interested in this service.
Education sessions are designed to provide staff members in varying fields with updates on the current state of affairs regarding how HIV impacts the populations you serve and how current HIV programs are being delivered in the Northeastern and North Central regions of Pennsylvania today.
Our HIV 101 covers the basics of HIV for your clients. Attendees will learn how HIV is transmitted, prevented, and treated.
Our HIV 201 focuses on the basics of HIV transmission, prevention, treatment, HIV’s connection to current drug trends, mental health issues, the correctional system, aging populations in your community, and the connection with Hepatitis C.

This program allows us to partner with various venues throughout our 12-county service area in order to deliver free condoms to their location to be distributed to their customers/clients free of charge. Venues that partner with us for this program include, but are not limited to, bars, colleges, vape lounges, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, and youth service centers. Free Prevention Supplies
Free prevention supplies are available at all office locations and can also be found at participating condom distribution sites. The prevention supplies we offer are lubricated condoms, oral condoms, female condoms, magnum/XL condoms, non-latex condoms, and dental dams. You can also order condoms through our website!
